Tell us, how did you meet? Was it Love at first
sight?
We meet while I was travelling
around Australia, I fell for him straight away – he was the typical blued eyed charming Aussie surfer. I
don’t think either of us thought at that moment we would end up getting married, but it didn’t take us
long to realize what we had was very special and we fought hard to stay together.
What about the engagement story? Can you give us a
snapshot?
Troy purposed in a
private villa in Lembongan: it was sunset and he put the ring on a day bed surrounded by frangipani’s. I
walked down first and there it was, I turned around and we both just cried. It was perfect.
So you decided to become Mr & Mrs… Why
Bali?
It is our second home, we spend a
month there every year. We have had some of our best times in Bali – it is MAGIC!
How did you choose your Bali wedding planner? What was
her/his Super Power?
We chose
our planner Sascha because she ran all the weddings at our favourite venue – Micks place. We stayed
there last year, and knew that it would be the spot for our day. Sascha made it so easy, and I felt like
a made a friend along the way.
Did you have a theme for the wedding? And was it a
late night Pinterest obsession?!
I
wanted it to be rustic, fun and with a little bit of bohemian glamour.
