Simona & Florian's Tropical Bali Wedding with The Wedding Mood

These Gorgeous Lovebirds Simona & Florian seized the opportunity to bring their family friends back to where it all began for them, Bali.

Nothing was going to stop them having their Tropical Bali wedding so they chose an oceanfront Villa to bring all of the magic to life with wedding planner Henny from The Wedding Mood.

This beautiful couple and Henny from The Wedding Mood had a big focus on pineapples throughout the decor and styling, Simona tells us why.

“Since our last name is “Urban” and “Nanas” means pineapple in Bahasa Indonesia, we went for “The Urbananas Wedding”! E.g. We had: a pineapple wedding drink called “The Urbananas”.

We used real pineapples as a décor element at the ceremony/tables, pineapple tarts in pineapple boxes + bags as wedding favours, brass/gold pineapple spoons for dessert (& guest favours), my bridal shoes had a golden pineapple logo, the polaroid photo station had pineapple photo props & pineapple stickers for the guestbook and we had pineapple floaties for the pool party at the later hour.”

There was an intimate beachfront ceremony with a ring adorned with the most beautiful greenery not to be outdone by the even more stunning reception with scenic views & orchid theme with pineapple touch flowers and luxury furniture from us, Bali Event Hire.

This couple chose our beautiful teak furniture, chairs and tables to add to their stunning tropical theme for their reception and cocktails were enjoyed on our Amalfi Hi Sets strategically placed around the grounds of Villa Vedas so everyone could catch the sunset.

The celebration continued to shine as fairy lights lit up the sky at dusk, geometric lanterns and vintage globes hung above the dinner table and made everything sparkle as the sun set.

Simona left us with a bit of advice for future couples...“It is YOUR wedding – how crazy or silly some of your ideas might seem to others, go for it! It will make YOUR big day special and most of all personal. The wedding should represent YOU as a couple!”
